2009 Subaru Legacy - Top Date car for Valentine's day

I thought this is an entertaining article where Motor Trend compares the most impressive cars to take your date on Valentine's day. One of those car is the 2009 Subaru Legacy Limited for under $25k new. They do have a point and the fit and finish is also quite superb to impress the ladies. So boys, you don't need to show too much bling bling just to get a good impressive date.


This is what the Motor Trend guys wrote, "The Subaru Legacy is often underrated, but it’s a delightful tourer at a stellar price. Pop for the Limited model and you’ll come in right under the $25,000 cap with plenty of creature comforts for all to enjoy. We’re talking leather seats, all-wheel drive, keyless entry, an excellent stereo, dual-zone climate control and more. The Legacy Limited looks and feels like it should cost several grand more than it does, which is far more likely to impress your date than the 0-60 mph time. 2010 Mercedes Benz E-Class - What is this design?

Wow - I am baffled. Check out the looks of the 2010 Mercedes Benz E-Class as compared to the predecessor. I guess we are going back to square and conservative. The front design is acceptable but the quarter panel and rear are just thick and not appealing. With the tail light looking similar to the 2009 Mitsubishi Galant. Well enuf said and compare it for yourself then check out the all new 2010 Buick LeCrosse.

Versus the all time sexy 2009 W211 Mercedes Benz E-Class





The E-Class arrives at the US this summer. Two versions will initially be available: E350, which is powered by the 268hp V-6, and the E550, which has the 382hp V-8 under the hood. Both will be available in Sport or Luxury trim. All-wheel drive 4MATIC versions, and the storming E63 arrive later in the year, and the 50-state legal E350 BlueTEC diesel model makes its U.S. debut in early 2010.

My take. I still like the C-Class better or test drive the all new 2010 Buick LaCrosse.

2010 Jaguar XFR - The Mean Cat

Jaguar is testing the water with their new fan club on the XF. The XFR however is a serious machine and luxury who is ready to go head to head with the M5 and the E63 AMG. The XFR receives a new, direct-injected 5.0L V-8 (also available for the 2010 XF). The XFR's mill receives pressurization from a Roots-type, twin-intercooled supercharger. Despite a mighty output of 510 hp and 461 lb-ft of torque, the new engine comes sans weight or fuel mileage penalty -- its 15/23-mpg rating is the same as the outgoing supercharged 4.2L. Jaguar attributes this to a variety of new and altered components, including a direct-injection system, a variable-length intake manifold, and variable camshaft timing. But this thing is fast and sexy, so until the new CAFE standard is in effect, some of the $80k big spender can still pick up this mean cat at the store. Meaoow..

Sport Compact Cars battle

Our friends at Motor Trend decided to push all the sport compact cars rockets from the Rice Rocket version, the Auto Bahn, and the Uncle Sam style. They call it the game of high-low reveals the spreads for base price ($22,675-$27,185), power (172-285 hp), and combined fuel economy (20-29 mpg). The competition within this eight-car grouping proved to be tight.

2010 Buick Lacrosse - Wow

When we think about Buick, we are referring to the boring American sedan driven by only people in the middle part of the USA. GM and some people realized that Buick is the Gold Standard brand and image (similar to Lexus) in China. GM capitalizes on this opportunity and share the platform and design for future Buick with Opel (Its successful mid tier Brand in Europe). As a result, we have the Insignia which is the new Lacrosse for the US market. I have high hopes for GM and they need that level of confidence to get their reputation back as well as return to profitability in this challenging global Automotive world.
